Why you'll need an efficient mould-release agent

An efficient mould-release agent will guarantee the smooth release of parts in an injection moulding process and secure consistent operation and a reduction of cycle times. A mould-release agent will lubricate the interface between polymer and mould during each injection moulding cycle and it is therefore of vital importance that the additive can be dosed at an optimum concentration where there is enough of a lubricant effect for efficient release but not too much to leave deposits or residue that may result in defective parts or clocking of the moulds venting system.

Semi-crystalline polymers such as polypropylene and polyethylene will exhibit some shrinkage when the resin solidifies and the effect of shrinkage will often require mould-release additives for lubrication and efficient release of moulded parts. Shrinkage may also cause nesting problems of stacked parts and a secondary effect of an efficient mould release additive is to have good denesting properties that allow stacked parts to be easily separated.

Einar® 201

Einar® 201 is a plant-based, food-grade anti-static and mould release additive well suited for use in various polymer types. This high-quality GMS offers mould release and denesting properties at low concentrations. It is easy to handle and dose as it comes in a convenient pellet form that does not lump or cause obstructions in feeding equipment.

Einar® 201 is an internal mould release additive for additive masterbatches based on PP, PE, PVC and PC, it has worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.


Einar® 204

Einar® 204 is a plant-based, food-grade anti-static and mould-release additive well-suited for use in various polymer types. This high-quality GMS made from fatty acids and glycerol, based on rapeseed oil offers mould release and denesting properties at low concentrations. It is easy to handle and dose as it comes in a convenient pellet form that does not lump or cause obstructions in feeding equipment. Einar® 207 is a plant-based, food-grade anti-static and mould release additive well suited for use in various polymer types. This high-quality GMS made from fatty acids and glycerol, based on a blend of palm and rapeseed oil offers mould release and denesting properties at low concentrations. Einar® 303

Einar® 303 is a plant-based, food-grade anti-static and mould-release additive well-suited for use in various polymer types. This general-purpose GMS offers mould-release and denesting properties at low concentrations. Einar® 303 contains mono- and diglycerides made from fatty acids and glycerol, based on palm oil. 

It is easy to handle and dose as it comes in a convenient pellet and powder form that does not lump or cause obstructions in feeding equipment. It has worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications.

Einar® 601

Einar® 601 is a plant-based, food-grade internal anti-static additive specifically formulated for LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, EVA, PLA, PA and PVC. It offers exceptional performance in demanding applications, surpassing standard migratory additives. This long-lasting additive not only ensures optimal functionality but also meets stringent safety standards for food contact.

Einar® 411

Einar® 411 is a plant-based, food-grade internal anti-static additive custom-designed for use in all PP grades. This long-lasting anti-static additive is the perfect alternative to ethoxylated amine and amides as it is able to match or exceed these while being safe enough to eat. Einar® 411 is an optimised blend of mono- and diglycerides with selected fatty acid profiles, made from vegetable oils

This optimised anti-stat has been developed specifically for challenging applications such as PP film while also meeting the high demands of electronic packaging. It has worldwide regulatory approval for food-contact applications and comes in paste form.
