Soy milk pilot plant
Palsgaard is able to offer manufacturers of soy based products from all over the world access to our unique pilot plant for soy based products. Our pilot plant holds the exact same features as a full-sized commercial plant.

With our pilot plant for extraction of soy milk base in our application lab in Singapore and our dairy pilot plant, Palsgaard can offer you an unrivalled service in developing a range of soy based alternatives to dairy products.
Plug-and-play soy pilot plant
Our 'heart-working' technologists are on hand to help you. We can adjust and modify the process parameters of the soy base, such as the blanching/soaking of the soy beans, the processing time, the temperature, the pH and the solid content.
The soy pilot plant for production of soy base consists of 3 units:
- Soy milk extraction including blanching, soaking, grinding and buffering
- Fibre separation, separating the soy milk base from the okara
- Enzyme inactivation and deodorisation
The soy pilot plant, designed by SPX, is completely flexible and the quality of the soy milk base can be finely adjusted by changing and modifying your process parameters. This allows you to create a unique soya base that meets your product goals and aspirations.
Your soy milk base can then be reformulated to make further profitable soy based products, for example drinks, yoghurts and a wide range of ice creams. These products can all be processed and tested in our well-equipped dairy pilot plants, for example in our UHT plant or continuous ice cream freezer.
The final optimization of your finished product can be developed together with our technicians in our facilities in Singapore.
