Extruded food ingredients

In addition to our bakery emulsifiers Palsgaard also delivers extruded food ingredients of high quality. In good cooperation with our clients we are able to develop a tailor made product that can be used in different sectors of the food industry. Main applications are the bakery, pastry and cereal industry. The main raw ingredients used for the extrusion process are based on corn, wheat, rye and malt. Other raw materials may be used upon clients request.

Cheesepan

A mixture of extruded corn and high quality tastefull Cheddar cheese creates a product with an exellent flavour that can be used for different applications.

Chilopan and Mexipan

Both products are based on corn. To make these products extra tastefull a flavour of chilipowder is added. Both products can be delivered in different sizes.

Fibropan

This product is made of a special selected wheat that grows in the province of Zeeland. The product has an extremely high content of fibres. The product can be delivered in granulate as well as powder form.

Maltopan

Maltopan is based on carefully selected malt which, during the extrusion process, is mixed with sirup. During the extrusion a product with a strong and pleasant caramel taste is created.

Melopan, Melopan Deco and Minipan

Melopan is made of pure corn. The raw materials are derived from different areas all over the world and carefully blended into an ideal composition. During the extrusion process the product is cooked and compressed under constant production circumstances. After the compression the product is expanded and formed into the desired shape.

Recipan

Recipan is a product made of special blends of wheat flour and wheat germs. It's used in pastry products with the purpose to improve the shelf life by the use of natural ingredients only.

Sirupan

A mixture of sirup and cereals of different types such as rye and wheat are used for the production of Sirupan. The product is mainly used for its nice taste and high content of fibres

Tomatopan

A combination of carefully selected tomatopowder, corn and wheat ingredients. Used in bread mixes Tomatopan gives  a delicious tomato flavour to the final product.
