Recognised as one of the best pensions in Denmark
As far back as the 1930s, Palsgaard owner, Herbert Schou, wanted to create a unique sense of solidarity between the various companies at Palsgaard and their employees. He was very successful and this culture lives on vibrantly today. He rightly believed that both the employer and the employee were responsible for ensuring financial security for the individual in all the stages of life.
We share our profits with you!
Since 1941, to give each employee financial security after the end of their working life at Palsgaard, we have offered all employees in Denmark the opportunity to participate in a unique pensions saving and profit-sharing scheme. The profit-sharing element is established via the Palsgaard Foundation's Pension Savings Association. The employer and the member (the employee) agree that the member pays in 2½ - 5% of their salary. Then, based on the annual accounts, Palsgaard pays in a corresponding sum multiplied by a so-called 'assignment factor'. In recent years this factor has fluctuated between 0.9 and 1.6.

253 twenty-five-year jubilee awards given - and still rising!
Your colleagues at Palsgaard are dedicated to their work too - which is reflected in their remarkably low turnover rate. In fact, no fewer than 253 employees have received the Palsgaard Medal - a silver medal that, together with an amount of money, is awarded to employees who have given 25 or 40 years of service at Palsgaard. Within the past decade, Palsgaard has celebrated nineteen 40th jubilees, four 50th jubilees and the 65th jubilee of Knud Brix.
